NSW: Telstra to appeal decision to charge for cables
Telstra has announced it will appeal a Federal Court decision that ordered it and Optus
to pay local councils for the right to lay cables.
The decision on December 22 grants 15 local councils in Victoria and New South Wales
the right to charge the telcos a yearly levy for stringing their cables through suburbs.
